West Seattle Dreamin'

It was a beautiful day in LA on Monday, over 100, which is actually horrible. But in Seattle it was sunny and warm, a comfortable 65. Antonio and Deb hit the beach, West Seattle style...

Feet in the sand...
Feet in the pebbles...
Feet in the water...
and fade out....

A different Ya-Ya.

Antonio and I went out for coffee yesterday. Antonio didn't care much for the coffee, but he did like the garbage can. Guess who was in there?
Today, we went to U Village. The weather wasn't too hot, but Antonio felt the need to cool down anyway. Check him out. He was having so much fun.
So much fun. I think he may enjoy playing in the sprinkler this year.

Mid-week Oak Harbor

For those of you that remember, Oak Harbor is pretty slow-paced and fun. But Oak Harbor mid-week is even more so! Since I'm in LA this week, Deb and Antonio went up to OH to visit the family.

One day Deb took Antonio out in the backpack to City Beach to meet Mamma and play. It was a great sunny day for OH and Antonio LOVED the rocks!

Grandma took some time off work to play with Antonio's favorite toys....

And of course to cuddle with Antonio too.

Grandpa was so excited to show Antonio the new fish but Antonio was way more interested in the big cars!

Uncle B came to visit and his favorite game is wrestling....Antonio usually wins though.

All that visiting and being cute can wear a guy out! Good thing Grandma and Grandpa have comfy chairs.

Oops. Forgot to post these.

Here is Antonio at Brunch at the Crocketts. It was a lot of fun to play with both Torin and Preston. After a while, Torin got out his camera and started taking some pictures. Antonio knew right where all the cool toys were kept.
All Antonio wanted to do was to wrestle with the big kids and to show the adults how much he loved them.

Here are some pictures from this weekend of me and Antonio reading together. He loves books. Books about cars. Books about trains. Books about other books. Pretty much anything with words and pictures in it, and he's reading it.
Here's a picture of me and Antonio watching a movie. Notice how I'm sleeping. It was a long week. I napped for three hours after we put Antonio down for his.
Dang, he's cool.
Sometimes after reading, a guy's gotta flop to the ground. This is one of those times.

Slumber Party

Deb and Antonio went to stay at cousin Elijah's house last night because Deb had a meeting and Havana is still not a great babysitter.

Check out Elijah's blog for some pictures and video of the boys: www.elijahbecker.blogspot.com

PRATFALLS!

Back to business for Antonio, business hair that is. Sometimes a guy's just got to hang out in his crib, looking cool with his hair cut short over his ears. No more hippies.

Uncle B came to visit this weekend and Antonio taught him how to play in the yard.

Antonio knows two things. One, sand is awesome. Two, falling down is funny. Both things are evident in this video.

Dad brought the sun back from Los Angles and with the sun came the bubbles! Bubbles are fun to catch, fun to grab, and fun to watch.

It doesn't hurt if you've got a cool hat on when the bubbles are happening.

Antonio is 70%

Yeah, Antonio is growing up. Now he sits at the big table and talks on the big phone. And he reads. A lot.

Know what his favorite book is? Deb made him a new book filled with pictures of all his people. He loves flipping through checking out his grandparents, his cousins, his aunts and uncles... etc., etc., etc....

Check it out.

He also went to the doctor again. The shots still suck, but he's now ABOVE AVERAGE. The rest of Antonio's body is catching up to his head, he is now around 70% for everything, head, weight and height. That's a big step up from a 95% head and 50% everthing else.

What a big boy.

Merry Christmas

Antonio had a great day today and thanks to Grandma and Grandpa he has some fun new things to play with in the yard. They were a Christmas present and since it has been snowing until yesterday they haven't had their chance to make a debut until now. So, Merry Christmas to Antonio. Ah, April Fools, whatever.
It was very sunny today and we visited the track for some good running!

Oh and check out what dad taught me!

(Jeff Adds: Okay, Still in LA. Only now I've watched this video, oh, six thousand times. Could he be any cuter?)
