Hey You - Guess Who's Two

At 5:15am this morning, I went for a run and was happily remembering two years ago at that time, I was drugged, breathing the oxygen and anticipating the arrival of the little man only a week late. Little did we know just two hours later, he'd make his exciting debut - now just two short years later it is Antonio's birthday!
Two - sometimes terrible, sometimes wonderful - is finally here. And for his great special day Antonio woke up to a special visitor at his house, Grandma! What a great surprise.

Then he decided it would be good to open some presents that he received in the mail. This cool google-eyed book is from Gran-Tia Maria, Uncle Bruce and Natalie. He read it many times during the day.
Antonio loves these animals that Laurie shrank and brought back from Africa! And of course they must alwasy play together.
After some breakfast, and some singing by Mamma and Bonk (better than last year but we didn't get it on video so that is up for debate), it was time to go to the park to show Grandma how two-year olds exhaust themselves...and their parents.

After a little lunch and a little shopping we needed to get back to the important business and re-enactments with Snot Rod and Boost, since Grandma brought them back from Seattle. See, Grandpa, Antonio does know who goes with who...

Antonio was lucky enough to receive many presents, and Grandma took him shopping for some too and of all the things she bought, this cool turtle named him DUDE, like the turtles in Nemo, was a favorite.
Daddy came home from work early so it was time for more presents! Uncle Rich sent a cool football and Antonio wanted to say thanks...

Auntie Becky sent some fun cards and Antonio showed off his smarts...

Of course, no birthday is complete without CAKE! This is Antonio's 5th time having cake, or any treat in his two years, but he is an expert!

And after cake, you sometimes need to be a bit crazy before you sleep.

For Antonio is was a wonderful day. For us it has been the most wonderful two years we could have ever imagined.
